Castaic Lake Recreation Area Opening and Closing Times. The dates listed below show the new opening and closing times, until the next change (always on Sundays). For example: on Jan 2nd (thru Jan 22nd), the park is open from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. Starting January 23rd (thru Feb. 5th), the park is open from 7:00AM to 5:15PM, and so on. NOTE: Boats must be out of the water by closing time. |

Admission and Fees
KIOSK ATTENDANT ONLY ACCEPTS CASH FOR DAILY ENTRANCE FEES, BILLS LARGER THAN $20.00 ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Annuals maybe purchased with cash or check* at the gate, or in the main office with cash, check* or credit card. (Visa, Mastercard, and Discovery Card)
*A fee of $33.00 will be charged on all returned checks.
NOTE: It is not uncommon on busy summer weekends for the park to close due to reaching maximum capacity, so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Purchase of a daily admission ticket does NOT guarantee re-entry to the park facilities upon closure.
