EFFECTIVE JUNE 16, 2025:
Castaic Lake will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until further notice.
KIOSK ATTENDANT ONLY ACCEPTS CASH OR CREDIT CARD FOR DAILY ENTRANCE FEES.
BILLS LARGER THAN $20.00 ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Castaic Lake Recreation Area is open from sunrise to sunset.
Please check with the gate upon arrival to confirm “off the water” times, as conditions may vary.

Wednesday – Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Restroom Hours:
Monday – Sunday | 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
November 1 – February 28

* Purchase of a daily admission ticket does NOT guarantee re-entry to the park facilities upon closure.
* Please note that California State Park Passes are not accepted at Castaic Lake Recreation Area.
NOTE: It is not uncommon on busy summer weekends for the park to close due to reaching maximum capacity,
